Apartment & Rental TV Installation in Austin

Most leases allow a wall-mounted TV; fewer allow fishing cable inside the drywall. We install to the mounting hardware your building actually permits, use anchors sized for apartment stud spacing, and route cable along the baseboard or through a slim surface channel instead of opening up the wall.

Our approach

How we do it

Stud-checked, apartment framing included

Apartment and condo framing is not always on standard spacing — we locate real studs before committing to anchor points.

No-drywall-fishing cable routes

A slim paintable channel or cord cover carries cable down to your console without opening the wall, and comes off cleanly at move-out.

Building rules respected

Where a property manager restricts in-wall work or requires a specific anchor type, we install to that standard, not around it.

Fast, low-mess visits

Apartment installs are usually the quickest kind of job we do — most finish in under an hour.

What to have ready before we arrive

  • Check your lease for mounting rules and tell us about any anchor restrictions.
  • Ask the office whether the building needs a COI or a scheduled contractor window.
  • Have a gate code or a visitor parking spot ready for us.
  • Clear the wall and the path from the front door.

FAQ

Apartment & Rental TV Installation questions

Will my landlord allow this?

Most leases allow wall-mounted TVs with standard drywall anchors; fewer allow fishing cable inside the wall. We will use anchor-only mounting and surface cable routes when your lease calls for it.

Can the holes be patched when I move out?

Standard TV mount anchor holes are small and simple to patch. We can point you to the right approach, or refer you to a patch specialist if your building requires professional repair.

Do you mount on apartment drywall without hitting a stud?

For most TV sizes we mount into studs. Where spacing does not line up, we use rated anchors built for the load — never a plastic wall plug alone on anything over a small screen.

How fast is a typical apartment install?

One TV with a surface cable channel is normally wrapped up in well under sixty minutes; tack on a soundbar and it runs a little longer.
